What is Selah & Seed?
Selah & Seed is an Australian women-owned lifestyle brand offering sustainable, ethically sourced clothing for women and children. We partner with skilled artisans in India and other countries to create beautifully crafted collections that honour people, preserve traditional craftsmanship, and care for creation. Selah invites us to pause and reflect; Seed symbolises growth, hope and new beginnings. Together they're our invitation to pause, grow, and live intentionally. The brand was founded by Sindisiwe Gxumisa in Australia in 2026, born from a lifelong love of fashion and a deep conviction that business can be a force for good.
We're based in Perth, Western Australia, and proudly ship internationally.

What materials do you use?
Depending on the collection, our garments feature premium natural fibres including organic cotton, handspun khadi cotton, handwoven cotton, natural linen, peace (ahimsa) silk and artisan-woven natural textiles.
Khadi is handspun, handwoven fabric — lighter, softer and more breathable than machine-made cotton, with a beautiful textural character. With the right care, khadi softens beautifully with age. It's one of our signature fabrics.
What is khadi?
Our current collections are offered in sizes S, M, L and XL and children’s sizes from 2 - 8 years old. Each product page lists available sizes for that piece. Each product page includes fabric and material details, and every style is cut differently — from relaxed co-ords to tailored vests. If you're between sizes or unsure, message us via the Contact page or WhatsApp and we'll happily advise before you order.
What sizes do you offer?
Are the fabrics pre-shrunk?
Yes — all our fabrics undergo repeated washing at both the yarn and fabric stage and are pre-shrunk during finishing, so your garment keeps its shape with proper care.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, plus Afterpay and Klarna — pay in 4 interest-free instalments. On eligible orders you can split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments — for example, the Denim Vest is 4 payments of $25.86. The instalment plan appears at checkout before you confirm your order. Payments are processed by trusted third-party providers (Stripe-powered checkout). We don't collect or store your complete card details.
How much is shipping and how long will it take?
Shipping costs are displayed at checkout, calculated by destination. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes or import charges imposed by the destination country. You'll receive shipping confirmation by email once your order is on its way, with tracking where available. As the garments are made to order. these would take typically 3 - 4 weeks.
Yes. We accept change-of-mind returns within 7 days of receiving your order, provided the item is unworn, unused and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Email info@selahandseed.com with your order number and the reason for return — we'll send you return instructions. Please don't send items back without contacting us first. Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds go to your original payment method (excluding original shipping costs) — please allow extra time for your bank to process it.
